Our Founder

Kimberly D. Spencer-McLeod is the Executive Director and Founder of the Aja Forever Foundation. Her hands-on life experience raising/caring for/mothering two asthmatic children, sleepless nights, many trips to the hospital and countless admissions is the driving force to provide a safe space to breathe freely.  

“After opening Aja’s phone for the first time and reading her screensaver, it read “Breathe”. This was the first sign that going forward was a must and I had to continue no matter what or regardless of this space in Life, to BREATHE”. This was Aja’s forever challenge, but it was connected to my FOREVER change. I am a mother’s will, fighting to live after loss. I am a mother’s encouragement to persevere. I am a mother’s determination to BREATHE.
